[Swim] Intro to Open Water Clinic with Pacific Open Water Swim Co.

Our partner Pacific Open Water Swim Co. is organizing an Intro to Open Water Swim clinic, designed specifically for helping swimmers make the move from pool to swimming in the San Francisco Bay. The team from Pacific Open Water Swim Co. will lead this clinic, bringing their decades of coaching, open water swimming experience, and piloting swims - so bring your enthusiasm and questions as we get into the Bay!

This introductory clinic covers:

• Key safety tips and what to know before entering the Bay
• Sighting and navigation techniques
• Breathing and stroke adjustments for open water
• Race strategies including entries, exits, pacing, and buoy turns

• What to bring: Wetsuit, swim cap, goggles, thermal cap if needed, towel, warm clothes to warm up after the swim, ear plugs
