Swim Meet: Olympic Club 1500

We're going to a Swim Meet! Join your fellow GGTC swimmers at one of San Francisco's most popular swim meets, the Olympic Club 1500. It's a simple event: 1500 yards freestyle.

To register, make sure to sign up on the event's website. Then, come back and register on this event so we have an idea how many GGTC swimmers will join us!

• Multi-lane, 25-meter heated indoor pool. Eight lanes will be used for competition.
• Warm up / cool down lanes will be available throughout the meet.
• Warm up in the competition pool begins at 8am, the meet itself begins at 9am.
• The primary timing system will be automatic timing. Times can be submitted for world records, USMS records, and USMS Top 10 consideration.
• Proof of vaccination is required for entry. Masks are required when not swimming.
  

To sign up, you'll need a US Masters Swimming membership ($60 for 2022). This membership is required for all US swim meets including open water swims organized by the South End Rowing Club or Dolphin Club. If you're interested in doing swim meets with us, it's worth it. The event itself is $35.
