Join us for a very special workout – our first GGTC “Mystery Valentine’s Run!”

Here’s how it works. Each runner will be assigned a secrete identity of a famous celebrity, character or persona at the start of the run. However nobody will know who or what character they are. You will only be given a number for that character.

There will be several “check points” along the run route where you will gather clues to help you solve the mystery of who you are. Once you figure out your character, you will then receive one ticket into the prize drawing at the end.

But you’re not finished there. Each character will have a “counter-part” or “match”. If you can find one other runner whose character is your match, then you will get an additional ticket into the prize drawing.

So let’s say after a few check points, you figure out that your mystery character is President Obama. That gets you one ticket for the drawing. Now you need to mingle it up with the others to find one other runner who has discovered that they are Michelle Obama. If you find your “first lady” then you will receive one more ticket for the drawing. Meanwhile, the runner who is Michelle Obama will be happy you found her because now they too will receive another prize drawing ticket.

But in order to get your tickets you must first go on a “Honeymoon”. What we really mean is this event will be hosted at the Honeymoon Headquarters in Mill Valley. Honeymoon Ice Cream was recently started by GGTC member, David Young. And David has offered to host and provide us with post run refreshments and of course, the best organic and natural treat you will ever taste.

Hosted by GGTC Coaches Duane and Dorette Franks and Honeymoon Ice Cream.

Start/finish at the Honeymoon Headquarters, 38 Millwood Place, Mill Valley.

Run Distance: There will be an 8 mile and 12 mile course both on roads and trails. Maps will be posted the week before and available at the event.

Rain or shine. Running in the rain is fun. Eating ice cream in the rain is also fun.

Please RSVP on FACEBOOK events page HERE by Thursday, February 13 so we can plan accordingly.
