Runners Needed for Commercial - 5 minutes of fame!...
10/18/2013 11:52 AM
Hello Golden Gaters... maybe that will catch on?
Have you ever wanted to be on TV?
Do you yearn for your 5 minutes of fame?
Have you wanted to do a marathon but not really?
Our friend Jenni Kirk is looking for about 75 volunteers to help shoot a commercial in San Francisco for Dick's Sporting Goods. Here was her message to me I'm passing along. Contact her for more details!
I'm helping with casting for a commercial/photo shoot for Dick's Sporting Goods - they're coming here to SF to do their 2014 running campaign, and we need 75 runners to stage a mock marathon and do some other individual trail and road running photos during the week of November 18-22
. As you may know, they do some pretty awesome commercials, so I'm excited that they've chosen SF as their next location!
I'm reaching out to you because you are leaders and well-connected athletes in the endurance community here in SF (SF Tri, M2, GGTC, Pamakids, and more). If you know anyone who might be interested (or if you're interested), please have them contact me (
), and I'll collect the necessary information to pass along to the casting agency. Runners will be compensated for their time.
