Bike Trainers
Author Last Post
a friend of mine has this one: http://realaxiom.com/

he is happy with it. He likes the fact it generates resistance. But he said he is going to sell it to downgrade to a simpler one, without resistance, since now he got a pedal power meter (stagescycling) and will generate resistance with the bike's gears itself. Not sure if it makes sense or not tho.

Hey Russell,

I was in your boat last year and when I asked here, the overwhelming response at the time was in favor of the Kinetic Fluid (with a handful of votes for the Cycleops Fluid and a couple of other things). I ended up getting the Kinetic Fluid and have been very happy with it. In terms of the things I cared about, it's quick to get my bike in and out, and I could set it up on my own, which is saying something as I'm not mechanically inclined. I use it my garage so quiet wasn't my #1 priority, but I don't think it's particularly noisy either.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to get, and what to avoid?
