I did see a comparison of CDA vs Vineman and the positive for CDA was the roads are not full of potholes ; >

Well, one for all the fun training time with us!  I also think CdA will be a great ironman experience and I've heard from previous racers that the town really goes all out for it.  For me it's really my only choice because I need an early season race as my season is essentially over once my kids are out of school for the summer.  I'm planning on racing Oceanside and then building to the full from there which should leave plenty of training time to be ready but not too burnt out (I hope).

Dear Erika,

4 beers in at the last Thirsty Thursday, I distinctly recall we made a solemn pact, along with Claire Diepenbrock that we would all enter CdA together.

Yours Sincerely,

Feeling Somewhat Let Down
Of San Rafael.

Did this race twice.
Highly recommend you reserve motel NOW.
Highly recommend Flamingo Motel downtown -- walk to race start.

Cheers,
