Registration for GGTC's Tri & Give (TAG) program to the Santa Cruz Tri (olympic distance, formerly Sentinel) is now open. Whether it's your first olympic distance triathlon or you're looking to significantly improve your olympic time, Coach Neil and Laura Frasier will help you meet your goal. • SANTA CRUZ TRIATHLON OLYMPIC DISTANCE DISCOUNT FOR GGTC MEMBERS

The Santa Cruz Triathlon (formerly the Sentinel) is offering the Golden Gate Triathlon Club members $15 off registration. Contact a GGTC board member for the discount code. Make sure you sign up as GGTC member.
As if this isn't enough to get you tempted into your wetsuit, they are also offering a club competition purse with $1,000 going to the 1st place USAT Division 1 Team (largest size) ad $500 going to 1st place Division 2 (second largest by size). To be eligible, members must affiliate themselves with their teams when they register with active.com.
We highly encourage you to join the fun down in Santa Cruz in September. What better way to finish off a season.

Do want to be an Ironman? We are excited to announce that GGTC premium sponsor, Trifiniti will offer IM group training again in 2010. In the past 9 years Trifiniti has helped hundreds of athletes to fulfill their Iron dreams. Congratulations to the 12 athletes enrolled in this year’s IM group who just completed IM Coeur d’Alene on Sunday. And good luck to the other twenty who will be racing in one of the upcoming Ironman events in France, UK, Lake Placid, Full Vineman, Louisville and Canada.

Next year’s program will target all IM events beginning with Utah in May. Our featured event will be Coeur d’Alene as this is one of the most popular and assessable events for Bay Area athletes. The program will include California 70.3 in Oceanside and Wildflower as tune up events.

GGTC is thrilled to offer it's members a $10 discount on the Santa Cruz Sprint Distance Triathlon on August 9th.
You need to register with Finishline productions and instead of $85 dollars you will pay $75 dollars. The race sold out extremely fast last year so be sure to sign up soon.
